Sheepskins from Poland
Great for Camping or your home
Please note these are all totally natural sheepskin, so initially do have a sheepskin scent to them however that will wear out if aired and over time. These hides are stunning for use on your camp cot or in your home. Do not wash these hides! They can be freshened up by sprinkling baking soda over them and lightly vacuuming or shaking them out. Good practice is to brush or shake them out often to freshen.

Our skins are imported directly from Swedish island called Gotland.
Gotland sheepskins characterized by a very curly and fluffy hair. Usually the hair tips are darker than the whole skin.
Melerade Sheepskin
Melerade Sheepskin
Melerade is a mixture of Swedish and Gotland sheep breeds. These skins are characterized by their beautiful and slightly curly hair. They are also really soft in touch.
Name “Melerade” comes from Swedish and it means “spotted”.

We sell only the original Dutch breed which has been bred for many generations on Dutch farms. This particular breed is weatherproof and even though it has a really hard and resistant skin its hair is still pleasant in touch.

Heidschnucke is a breed of sheep from northern Germany. These skins are very popular. They have really beautiful colors There are many variants of colors: black, white, brown, grey, etc.
Heidschnucke is a common German breed and knowledge is passed from generation to generation in German sheepfolds specializing in breeding of these particular sheep.
